Manufacturer
The assault rifles 5.56 mm AR-M7FT belongs to the firearms whose action is based on the principle of conveying a part of the powder gases through a special port in the wall of the stationary barrel and their influence onto the bolt carrier.The receiver is made from hot die forged solid blank followed by milling operations.The barrel chamber is closed by turn of the bolt and engaging the firing stops in the receiver.The weapon is fed from a 30-round arcuated staggered magazine, manufactured from glass fiber reinforced polycaproamide.The sigh consists of sectors marked for shooting at a distance of up to 800 m.The hammer-trigger mechanism has a hammer, which is activated by firing spring.
- prevents contaminating of the receiver through the bolt carrier handle slot in the receiver cover;
- prevents from reloading the barrel chamber.The butt, lower hand guard and the upper hand guard and pistol grip are made from glass fiber reinforced polycaproamide. The lower hand guard is equipped with Rails MIL-STD 1913 (Picatinny) on three sides (at the 3, 6 and 9 o'clock positions), wich make possible the attachment of Flash Light, Lazer Aim Indicator, Front Hand Grip, Bipod, etc.The upper hand guard is equipped with one Picatinny rail (at the 12 o'clock position), which make the attachment of Sighting Devices possible.The butt of AR-M7FT is telescopic plastic. The Butt is characterized by:
-
Possibility of 3 stages of extraction;
-
Side Picanny Rail – allows addition of fully adjustable cheek-rest (adjustable for height with thumb knob – 2.4 cm range; by moving horizontally along the Picatinny rail, allows proper eye relief of scoped rifles);
-
Rubber non-slip butt pad with tapered angle, allows faster shouldering & increased comfort with body armor;
-
Two ultrasonically welded metal quick release sling mount points;
-
All can be easily fit to both left/right handed users.
For quick target acquisition at low-light conditions can be used Tritium Self-illuminated Night Sight (3-dot sight system).The Assault Rifle design allows the attachment of 40x46mm ARSENAL UBGL-M8 or 40x46mm ARSENAL UBGL-M6 Underbarrel Grenade Launchers, and firing with them.For rapid fire mode changing, for convenience left-hand shooters, as well as when the butt is folded, is available an additional left fire mode selector lever.On the receiver of the AR-M7FT there is a riveted Rail, on which via a Sight Carrier with a Picatinny rail, different kinds of Sighting Devices can be attached to the Rifle.
