DESIGNATION
The 73 mm Round RHEAT-9MA is designed for destroying tanks, self-propelled guns and other armoured vehicles. It can be used for destroying manpower of the enemy in hasty field, shelters and brick-wall fortifications.Used with 73 mm ARSENAL Antitank Grenade Launchers of ATGL-H family and Russian SPG-9, the round characterizes with high accuracy, low dispersion and huge destructive power.

CONSTRUCTION
The Round RHEAT-9MA consists of High-Explosive Anti-Tank Grenade GHEAT-9MA and Start Booster CP-91.The Grenade GHEAT-9MA consists of High-Explosive Anti-Tank warhead with Piezoelectric Fuze AF-74 and Sustainer Motor SM-91.

FUNCTION
Before firing, take out the CP-91 from the plastic container and screw it on the Grenade.When the round is fired, the CP-91 gets activated, the pressure of its powder gases creates the required initial velocity of the round, and the Fins assembly ensures its stable flight to the target.Upon impact, the Piezoelectric Fuze AF-74 gets activated, which in its turn, actuates the Hollow charge of the warhead.As a result of the detonation, cumulative jet(high velocity jet of plasma) is formed, that hits the target.
